The Transgender Youth Clinic at SickKids is one of the few places in the province where youth can get the gender-affirming care they need. Since opening, referrals have surged, and demand far outpaces capacity. And yet, we know that long waitlists put youth at high risk for self-harm and suicide. This gift supports the Transgender Youth Clinic fund and will empower the team of health-care professionals who provide inclusive, non-judgmental care to youth and families—so more can get the care they need.
